Jumping will be split into morning and afternoon sessions with a potluck lunch beginnig at noon. There will be a 1 hour pause in jumping from 12:30pm to 1:30pm to allow for a SBGRC General Meeting. Each member dog will initially be limited to one session. As we approach the event date, it may be possible to add an additional session for a member dog, if space allows.
The event will be held at the K9 Aqua Sports Club facility at 639 Smithfield Rd (just off Rte. 22) in Millerton, NY. This is the same facility as previous years. It is a side driveway off to the right on the dirt entry road to the Ledgewood Bording Kennels at the same address. The picnic has been a lot of fun in past years, as we have had really hot weather and all the dogs enjoyed the pool. We will give instructions and will encourage beginners to try out the fun. Bring along your dog’s favorite bumper, toy or ball, and some sunscreen as well as a copy of your dog’s rabies certificate. Your pop-up tent might be useful as well, depending on the weather. Please bring a dish to share for the potluck lunch. Be sure to bring drinking water and a bowl for your dog.
